It’s a fact! Mary-Kate is caught! Kissing Ben Kingsley a 63 old man. Why you’re asking? She’s not doing drugs and no, she is not going crazy. Mary-Kate is going to be starring in an upcoming movie with Kingsley called The Wackness which is said to be released sometime in 2008.

NEW YORK (Aug. 15) – Brace yourself: In her upcoming movie, Mary-Kate Olsen locks lips with Ben Kingsley . Yes, the one-time adorable tyke turned teenage titan, and Ghandi. Not surprisingly, the film’s a comedy. Olsen is now 21. Kingsley is 63. Their film, “The Wackness,” is slated for release next year.

“There is a very passionate scene in the film, which we filmed last week,” Kingsley, who won the best-actor Oscar for 1982’s “Ghandi,” tells the syndicated TV show “Access Hollywood” in an interview scheduled to air Wednesday.

“It went extremely well and she was very focused. She was very good, very professional. She was quite wonderful.”

When asked if he thinks the scene will stir up controversy, Kingsley says: “I’m sure it will. (Her character) is this great free spirit, you know, she is equally seducing so it is a level playing field.”

In the film, Kingsley plays a therapist who forms a friendship with a teenage drug dealer (Josh Peck) who trades pot for therapy sessions. Olsen portrays one of the dealer’s customers, who winds up kissing Kingsley’s character.

“It’s for a few seconds and then we disappear and we never see each other in the movie,” Kingsley says. “But she is a trigger into my quest for happiness.”

Though brief, the scene left a good impression on him. “Mary-Kate has huge energy,” he says. “She is very, very committed to her work.”

Olsen, who rose to fame on TV’s “Full House,” was last seen on the big screen opposite her sister, Ashley, in 2004’s “New York Minute.”

Kingsley’s film credits also include “House of Sand and Fog” and “Schindler’s List.”

Mary-Kate was seen on the set of her new movie to be released in 2008 (?)
The Wackness: IMDB: “Story, set in 1994, centers on a troubled teenage drug dealer and a drug-addled psychiatrist — after the former trades pot for therapy sessions, then falls for the doctor’s daughter.”

On the movie:

Ben Kingsley, Josh Peck, Famke Janssen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Olivia Thirlby and Method Man are taking a whack at the indie comedy “The Wackness.”

Occupant Films is producing and financing the comedy, which was penned by Jonathan Levine, who also will direct. Occupant’s Keith Calder, Felipe Marino and Joe Neurauter are producing.

Set in New York in summer 1994, the greatest year in hip-hop, the story revolves around a troubled teenage drug dealer (Peck) who trades pot for therapy sessions with a drug-addled psychiatrist (Kingsley) intent on living his life to the fullest. The two form an unlikely friendship, but things get complicated when the kid falls for the doctor’s daughter (Thirlby). The film is shooting in New York.

The film reteams Occupant and Levine, who made his directorial debut with Occupant’s “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane,” a Toronto Film Festival darling, which is set to bow early next year2008.

Kingsley’s credits include “House of Sand and Fog,” “Sexy Beast,” “Schindler’s List” and “Gandhi.”

Peck is half of Nickelodeon’s tween sensation “Drake and Josh,” which has spawned a movie project in development at Nickelodeon/Paramount Pictures. He most recently filmed the Owen Wilson starrer “Drillbit Taylor” for Paramount Pictures.

Janssen is best known for her role as Jean Grey in the “X-Men” film franchise. She also starred in “Hide and Seek” and “Don’t Say a Word.”

Olsen most recently starred in “New York Minute.”

Thirlby, whose credits include “United 93,” will next be seen in “Juno,” “Snow Angels” and “Margaret.”

Mary-Kate (my favorite Olsen) makes an appearance at the Weeds premiere

Mary-Kate Olsen pairs her simple white American Apparel tee with a floor-grazing Azzedine Alaia skirt at the Season 3 premiere of Showtime’s Weeds at Hollywood’s ArcLight Theatre on Wednesday. She

The one-half of the famed Olsen twins wore her braided hair in a Dutch crown and fittingly accessorized with a cross pendant neck (her character in the show will always wear a cross), Balenciaga shoes and a Muse bag from YSL.

Mary-Kate will play “good Christian girl” Tara Lindman, Silas’ (played by Hunter Parrish) new love interest who gets high every now and then.

I love MaryKate because she doesn’t have to coat on tons of make-up and wear expensive smack you in the face clothing, she is simply gorgeous. :)
